Protein Rich Matcha Dalgona (FP)
I’ve seen a lot of Coffee Dalgona Recipes, I’m off the coffee lately and felt like I was really missing out on something special! I didn’t want a lot of heavy cream adding extra calories (though you can sub egg whites for whipped cream for a delicious and creamy S version!). I came up with recipe after experimenting with different proteins for the froth factor! It is one of my absolute favorite morning drinks!
- 2 T Egg whites
- 1 tsp Matcha
- 2 T Lankato Monkfruit/ T Gentle sweet
- ½ tsp Vanilla extract
- 1.5 T Collagen
- Whip with a (powered) mixer whip (a real hand mixer, a frother will not do it) until fluffy! This will take a few minutes
- Pour over Almond Milk or another Nut milk with ice it, stir and enjoy!
This Dalgona contains enough protein to be considered a protein source in a meal! It is so velvety and luscious, it could even be considered a great FP snack!
